While you might not have heard of Getulio Alviani, he was very popular among the other Op Artists of his time. Jesus Rafael Soto asked Alviani to be the director of the Jesus Soto Museum of Modern Art in Venezuela. This print is reminiscent of his peers Josef Albers and Richard Anuszkiewicz.
